POSE FOR RED NOSE

September 3, 2017

Last week I started my journey with Cure Kids. Not only am I an employee (for the next 5 weeks) but I also wore my second hat at the launch for Red Nose Day on Thursday night as a netballer there to support the cause. A bunch of super rad kiwis (Art & Matilda, Patrick Tuipulotu, Vince Aso, Ben Boyce, Guy Williams, Erin Simpson, Anjuli Mack and more) were there, all donning their red noses and sharing their enthusiasm and passion for such an incredible cause.

Red Nose Day is one of New Zealands biggest annual appeals. It aims to raise over $1Million for child health research. You can find out how to get involved and better yet, sign up your school or business here: https://www.rednoseday.co.nz/

The blondes and Anjuli! (Erin Simpson, Storm Purvis, Matilida Rice and Anjuli Mack)

A new initiative this year is the Dare and Share challenge. You can join Art and Matilda by dying your hair red or partake in any of the other challenges like:

  • Rock a red fro for a red nose – wear a red wig on Red Nose Day, or;
  • Wear red speedos for a red nose, or;
  • Go for red toes, bows and pantyhose for a red nose, or;
  • Strike a pose for a red nose!

Just post a photo of yourself fulfilling the dare on social media and challenge your friends to do the same! Make sure you use the hashtags #rednosedaynz #poseforrednose

Vince and I took one for the team and had to pop a balloon revealing our Dare and Share challenge on Thursday night and wow thank the LORD Vince popped the balloon with the speedo challenge in it. I think we can all agree that no one wants to see me in a pair of those/how rudely inappropriate would that be?!

My face says it all… (Vince Aso and Storm Purvis)

Hope you guys can join me and so many others across the country in helping to raise funds for Cure Kids and enabling every kiwi to live a happy and healthy childhood!
